Lebenslauf
Fatih Demir works as a research assistant in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Turkish-German University. After completing his Bachelor's degree in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Kocaeli University, he started his Master's degree at Abant İzzet Baysal University. While writing his master's thesis, he went to the University of Łódź, Poland for one year with the Erasmus program. After returning to Turkey, he presented his thesis titled "Alfred Thayer Mahan and the Maritime Theory ". He is currently continuing his doctoral studies on "German foreign policy and German naval strategy" at the National Defence University. Additionally, he was awarded a one-year scholarship within the TUBITAK 2214-A International PhD Research Scholarship Program to carry out his doctoral studies. Before working as a research assistant, Fatih Demir worked as an assistant expert at a public foundation and worked in West Africa.
