He received his BS in Control and Automation Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and his MS in Mechatronics Engineering and Energy Science and Technologies from the same university. He also received his PhD from ITU Energy Science and Technologies with the thesis titled "Siting and sizing of renewable energy supported electric vehicle charging stations along highways with a novel interoperable smart energy management system" Research interests: - System modeling and optimization - Renewable energies (solar and wind systems) - Demand-side management in smart grids - Energy planning and management - Fuzzy modeling and control - Fuzzy MCDM - Infrastructure planning for electric vehicle charging stations
