SHORT CV

Sefer Arda Serbes completed his high school education at İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School (German-language program). He received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2013 and a second BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2015. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked in the private sector for a total of four years, including two years in the manufacturing industry and two years in the solar energy sector. In 2019, he obtained his MSc degree from the Energy Institute of Istanbul Technical University. His master's thesis focused on the experimental investigation of heat transfer in swirling flows. In 2026, he received his PhD degree from the Graduate School of Istanbul Technical University. His doctoral dissertation investigated the experimental study of a novel type of dynamic vibration absorber.
