Dr. Taylan Terzioğlu received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his M.S. in Structural Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (USA). He earned his Ph.D. from the Construction Management Program in the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on construction management, decision-making methods, supply chain management, and the selection and optimization of industrial formwork systems. He has published scientific articles on these topics in internationally peer-reviewed journals. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Terzioğlu has nearly twenty years of international industry experience. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the management of large-scale international construction projects, specializing in project management, construction technologies, formwork and scaffolding systems, and international business development. He currently serves as Business Development Manager at PERI Türkiye, where he is responsible for the technical and commercial management of international projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Through his academic research, Dr. Terzioğlu aims to bridge scientific knowledge with industry practice, contributing to the advancement of the field of construction management.
